One of the signs of a good language learner is being comfortable with not understanding everything. You’ll misunderstand things. You’ll make mistakes. That’s part of the process. What matters is that you keep listening, reading, and enjoying the language. Perfection just creates friction.

You don’t need constant speaking practice to keep improving in a language. Focus on input: listen, read, enjoy the language, and build your vocabulary and comprehension. Then, when you do get the chance to speak, you’ll have a much stronger foundation to work from.

Learning a language is a lot like falling snow. ❄️ At first, nothing seems to stick. But the more you listen, read, and expose yourself to the language, the more it starts to accumulate. Be patient with the process. Keep going, and eventually it will stick.
